The Pennypit Community Development Trust provides support over the festive period by supporting families with items such as Christmas Presents, Jingle Bags and New Year bags.

The cost of living crisis is currently affecting many families in our community, including stretching the household income pushing many more families into poverty this winter. The winter months present the greatest health risks to many vulnerable families who are living in poverty and need assistance. Many children have to walk to and from school without a coat or food, which has an adverse affect on their concentration, attendance, and performance.

Our mission is to provide free food and winter essentials to children and adults who are in need. The coats will be distributed across Musselburgh areas
